The Swedish pop duo Roxette will play at the Shanghai Grand Stage.

The group was among the first modern Western pop bands heard on the Chinese mainland. Roxette was founded by Marie Fredriksson and Per Gessle in 1986 and topped the charts of 24 countries and chalked up record sales exceeding 75 million copies. Some of their songs were given Chinese lyrics and sung by Chinese pop singers, especially those from Hong Kong.
