Taylor Momsen admits she is "completely neurotic".
The Pretty Reckless singer - who found fame as Cindy Lou Who in 'How the Grinch Stole Christmas' when she was just seven - says she has the kind of brain that never stops working.
She said: "I'm completely neurotic, totally anxious and high-strung all the time. I sleep for about four hours a night, or day, really. I go to bed at 9am, sleep for four hours, then get up and start the day again."
The 18-year-old former 'Gossip Girl' star insists that when she has time off, she doesn't know what to do with herself.
In an interview with British magazine FHM, she added: "To be honest, I don't know what to do when I'm not working. I lose my mind if I'm not constantly doing something."
Famed for her revealing outfits and for flashing on stage, she admits that when it comes to her footwear, the more stripper-like the better.
She explained: "I love stripper shoes and I always try to find the tallest ones. I'm always surprised no-one talks about my shoes.
"I'm, like, on stage in 15-inch heels but people talk more about my eye make-up, which has stayed the same forever. I always think that's funny."
