Ahn sets up Beijing studio

South Korean director Ahn Byeong-ki has announced he will set up a studio in Beijing to produce films in the fast growing market.
Ahn is known for horror films, such as Ouiji Board and Forbidden Floor. His first project in China is a Chinese version of Ouiji Board, starring veteran actress Mei Ting. It will be Mei's first horror film. She plays a writer, who protects her daughter in a haunted villa.
Ahn has not revealed the release date, but says it will hit theaters in China soon.
