Hilary Swank is suing a California home entertainment company for using pictures of her from a film without her permission.
The actress is angry that the business is allegedly using images of her appearing in 'Million Dollar Baby' in their adverts without consent.
According to a lawsuit filed last week in a Los Angeles Superior Court, Hilary says a company called Robert's Home Audio and Video used snaps of her in their commercial campaign without prior agreement.
She is now asking for unspecified damages after a violation of her right of publicity, according to TMZ.
The lawsuit does not go in to detail about exactly how the images were used but does devote 14 pages to listing her credits and awards.
The news comes one month after it emerged her 'Million Dollar Baby' co-star Clint Eastwood is suing a furniture company for allegedly using his name to sell products.
The 82-year-old Oscar-winner filed a lawsuit against Evofurniture, a website named Immod.com, and the owners of the website's domain name Alan Finkelstein and Casey Choron.
He claims the defendants are selling entertainment products, ottomans and chairs named after his first and last name.
One product description reads: "When you're invited into a person's home, you get to see the good, the bad and the ugly. When visitors come to your home, the Clint 47" Entertainment Center makes your family room alone look like you live in a perfect world of a million dollar baby."
