L'Oreal is paying Cheryl Cole to fly to Cannes film festival on Sunday (20.05.12) for only two and a half hours.
The 28-year-old 'Call My Name' singer - who is an ambassador for the beauty brand - needs to be back in the UK in time for the premiere of her new film 'What To Expect When You're Expecting'.
The former 'The X Factor' panelist who makes a cameo appearance in the comedy motion picture is also required in London to rehearse for her performance on 'The Voice' next Saturday (26.05.12).
A source told the Mirror: "It's hectic for Cheryl at the moment, launching her comeback single, Call My Name, which happens to coincide with the release of the film. But she planned to go to Cannes a while back, along with the other L'Oreal spokeswomen.
"Her visit is being timed with military precision. She is jetting in, attending a party and leaving in the time it takes most people to unpack. The cost is astronomical but it's important Cheryl's there."
Eva Longoria, Jane Fonda and Beyonce Knowles are also spokesmodels for the brand.
The source added: "She will fly in on a private jet, then dash to the event.
"She has a selection of outfits, worth around £10,000 all together, and a range of diamonds to wear."
