If you're hankering to escape from the summer heat, immerse yourself in an exotic locale at the Hong Kong Summer International Film Festival. Gala premieres include Heiward Mak's Diva starring Joey Yung in the title role and Brian Tse's McDull, the Pork of Music starring everyone's favorite animated piglet. French director Eric Rohmer gets a retrospective, along with Kinoshita Keisuke classics The Portrait and Here's to the Young Lady; both feature seminars on the works of these celebrated filmmakers.
