Maybe Mars, a record label and production company dedicated to the innovative sound of young China, is turning 5 and will celebrate with a national tour called Independent China in Stereo, which ends in Beijing on Sept 1. Since its founding in 2007, Maybe Mars has released more than 40 albums, showcasing new Chinese musicians from around the world, including the UK and US. Maybe Mars has introduced Carsick Cars, Xiao Hei, and Av Okubo, who will all take the stage on the national tour.
