X Factor USA renewed for third season

'The X Factor' USA has been renewed for a third season.
Fox has announced its talent show will run for a third series and judge Simon Cowell - who quit the UK version of the show to set up the American programme - insists he is "so proud" of 'The X Factor' USA and praised the show's fans for all their support.
The music mogul - who sits alongside L.A. Reid, Britney Spears and Demi Lovato on the panel - said in a statement: "I couldn't be happier about 'The X Factor' already being renewed for another season.
"I am so proud of the show and the team who have made it this season. I want to thank our incredible sponsors for their support and creativity, and Fox for going out of their way to do everything they can to make this show a success. Most importantly, I have to personally thank our amazing fans for the support and enthusiasm they have given to 'The X Factor'."
With 'The X Factor' USA's live shows just days away, Simon told the fans to expect "fireworks" in the forthcoming episodes, which will be co-hosted by Khloe Kardashian and Mario Lopez.
He added: "Our main commitment will always be to find great talent, and let's not forget, we are now days away from our first live shows. The gloves are off! Expect fireworks!"
