Cross-Straits hospital opens in August

The first cross-Straits hospital in Beijing will be open in August.
Beijing Baodao Healthcare maternity hospital will have 100 beds. Taiwan Kuang-yu Hospital Management Consulting and Beijing Baodao International Hospital Management have invested 200 million yuan ($31.62 million) in the hospital, which will be run using a management model from Taiwan.
Under the Economic Cooperation Framework Agreement in 2009, the mainland opened the healthcare sector to Taiwan investors.
