CNSO presents animation classics

The China National Symphony Orchestra will present a concert comprising the music of Joe Hisaishi and Hayao Miyazaki's animation works.
Most Chinese animation fans are familiar with Japanese composer Joe Hisaishi, who is famous for his collaborations with animation master Hayao Miyazaki. He has composed most of the scores for his films, such as Castle in the Sky, My Neighbor Totoro, and Spirited Away.
The CNSO will not only play the music in Miyazaki's classical animations but also Hisaishi's works for famous movies such as Departures and Kikujiro.
