China's Zheng Jie into ASB Classic final

AUCKLAND - Chinese tennis player Zheng Jie cruised into the final of the ASB Classic Women's Tennis Tournament in Auckland with victory over Svetlana Kuznetsova from Russia on Friday.
Zheng Jie beat Svetlana Kuznetsova from Russia by 2-6, 6-3, and 6-3.
Zheng Jie showed tremendous determination to battle through the match, when early on it looked like being a one-sided affair.
Kuznetsova jumped out to a 5-0 lead in the first set, but Zheng Jie was able to win the next two sets.
It will be Zheng Jie against Flavia Pennetta from Italy in Saturday's final of the ASB tennis Classic.
The Italian tennis player Flavia Pennetta entered into the final of the ASB Classic in Auckland with a straight sets victory over Angelique Kerber of Germany by 6-1 and 6-2 on Friday.
