Reganmian, or hot and braised noodles, a traditional Hubei dish, travels by train to Beijing for the athletes who are training hard for the upcoming Olympics, April 25, 2012.
On April 24, 10 kilograms of the noodles were brought to the dining tables of the athletes, and became a big hit. The athletes demanded more. As a result, another 20 kilos were brought from Hubei and hurried their way to the tables.
Another famous food from Hubei province is duck necks, but because of the complication of inspecting the meat, it has not made the list of food for the athletes.
