TAIYUAN, Shanxi Province - China's Liang Lei and Zhang Chongyao came back from the revival round to secure two London Olympic tickets in free style wrestling here on Friday.
It has been the country's only two berths grabbed in seven categories of men's free style wrestling. Olympic silver medalist Chang Yongxiang and other two Greco-Roman wrestlers were all ruled out in Friday's games.
Liang of the 120kg category, just like Zhang in the 74kg event, were weeded out of the final eight but came from behind in the re-dance to the third place after beating arch rivals from South Korea and Romania.
With a total of 50 Olympic spots up for grab, the tournament, running from April 27th to 29th in China's Shanxi province, features seven men's Greco-Roman and freestyle wrestling events apiece and four women freestyle.
The top three finishers in each of the men's 14 categories and the top two in each of women's four will qualify for this summer's London Olympics.
