TAIYUAN - Fifty Olympic berths have been taken here on Sunday at the 2012 Olympic qualifying tournament, in which China grabbed two in free style wrestling.
Zhang Chongyao (men's 74kg) and Liang Lei (men's 120kg) came out the sole duo for the hosts to have grabbed Olympic spots.
China's 55kg female free style wrestler Zhanglan was knocked out of the final on Sunday to miss the Olympic qualification. China has taken berths in the women's 48kg, 63kg and 72kg categories.
The tournament, running from 27th to 29th in China's Shanxi province, features seven men's Greco-Roman and freestyle wrestling events apiece and four women freestyle.
Top three finishers in each of the men's 14 categories and top two in each of women's four qualify for the London Olympics.
The next and last Olympic qualification stop before London will move to Finland's Helsinki later in May.
