Hu Jiashi, an official in charge of basketball at the General Administration of Sports of China, doesn't deny that the Chinese team has the goal of reaching the Final 8 at the London Games.
Despite an easier draw, Hu says the team still has to work hard in order to bring out the best of its talents, which he rates as third-class. He says the draw is not decisive, and the team's ups and downs in past games are proof that sometimes even with a hard draw, they can reach the Final 8. He adds that there is no weak team at the Olympics and it is only practical to fight for each game.
