Japan detains Chinese fishing boat captain

TOKYO - Japanese coastal guard in Nagasaki prefecture on Tuesday detained a Chinese fishing boat captain for allegedly violating Japan's fishing regulation on foreigners, local media reported.
Zhao Wenliang, consul general of the Chinese Consulate-General in Nagasaki, told Xinhua he is contacting the Japanese authorities concerning the issue and is gaining information from them.
