Kim, supreme commander of the KPA and supreme leader of the Workers' Party of Korea (WPK), instructed the KPA to remain on the highest alert at all times, and ordered them to mercilessly wipe out the enemies with arms of justice and revenge once they go into action.
Kim said he believed that the KPA service personnel would firmly defend the security of the country and the happiness of the people with arms, according to the KCNA.
He was accompanied by KPA Vice Marshal and Chief of the KPA General Staff Ri Yong Ho, KPA Vice Marshal and Minister of the People's Armed Forces Kim Yong Chun, KPA Vice Marshal and First Vice-Director of the KPA General Political Bureau Kim Jong Gak, and other senior officials.
The KCNA didn't disclose the exact date of the drill.
