Putin to visit China, attend SCO summit

BEIJING - As guest of Chinese President Hu Jintao, Russian President Vladimir Vladimirovic Putin will pay a state visit to China from June 5 to 7.
Putin will also attend the 12th Meeting of the Council of Heads of Member States of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) in Beijing scheduled for June 6-7, Foreign Ministry spokesman Liu Weimin made the announcement in a press release on Tuesday.
