KATHMANDU - Police confiscated 110 kg of hashish, allegedly the biggest narcotics haul in the kingdom, which was concealed in a truck during a security check on Monday in Central Nepal, the Himalayan Times reported on Tuesday.
Police have detained two traders, as well as the truck driver and his assistant.
The narcotics was confiscated while a trader was sending it for a Birgunj-based trader, police sources said.
The hashish, with a street value of 1 million Nepali ruppes ($11,235) at the local market and millions of rupees in the international market, was concealed at the bottom of the jerrycans topped up with ghee, police said.
