TOKYO - Japan will have its ambassador to South Korea return to Seoul, said Foreign Minister Koichiro Gemba on Wednesday.
Japanese Ambassador to South Korea Masatoshi Muto was temporarily called back to Tokyo earlier this month in protest against South Korean President Lee Myung-bak's visit to the South Korean-controlled disputed isles in the Sea of Japan which Japan claims are part of its territory.
