Chinese envoy visits US on DPRK affairs

WASHINGTON - Wu Dawei, China's special representative for Korean Peninsula affairs, paid a visit to the United States from Sunday to Thursday.
Invited by Glyn Davies, the US special representative on issues concerning the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, Wu and the US side exchanged views on the current situation of the Korean Peninsula.
They agreed that it is in the interests of both countries and all countries in the region to maintain peace and stability on the peninsula and realize denuclearization of the peninsula.
They also agreed to maintain communication and coordination on relevant issues.
