LOS ANGELES -- Fox's comedy "The Other Woman " unseated three-time box office champion "Captain America: The Winter Soldier" to win the race at North American theaters this weekend.

"The Other Woman" collected $24.7 million in ticket sales from 3,205 locations, according to estimates by box-office tracker Rentrak on Sunday. Starring Chris Evans and Scarlett Johansson, the latest superhero sequel from Disney has taken in $224.9 million since its release on April 4, becoming the top-grossing April release of all time in North America.

Sony's religious-themed film "Heaven Is For Real" held the third place with 13.8 million dollars, followed by Fox's animated sequel "Rio 2" with $13.7 million.
