HONG KONG -- An earthquake measuring 5.1 on the Richter scale jolted 81 km NNW of Curup, Indonesia at 08:51:17 Hong Kong Time (00:51:17 GMT) on Thursday, the US Geological Survey said.
The epicenter, with a depth of 169.36 km, was initially determined to be at 2.7551 degrees south latitude and 102.3528 degrees east longitude.
