Summer vacation, for some left-behind children, means a precious reunion with parents who work far away from their home towns. Wu Jinjuan, 9, and Wu Siyu, 5, sisters from Guilin, South China's Guangxi province, embark on a long journey to be reunited with their migrant worker parents who labor in Guangdong province.

The reunion is not as happy as expected however. Everything in the big city is strange to them. Quality time with their parents is limited and they will return home at the end of August to begin a new round of expectation.
