SINGAPORE - The Singapore Armed Forces (SAF) and the Vietnam People's Army kicked off the first practical cooperation on military medicine, said Singapore's Defence Minister Ng Eng Hen Thursday.
Ng wrote in his Facebook account that the two militaries provided basic health care, dental and eye services to residents in the Binh Xuyen district of the Vinh Phuc province in Vietnam.
"They also shared with each other knowledge and experiences on biodefence, peacekeeping operations, and Humanitarian Assistance and Disaster Relief (HADR) operations," said Ng.
