Bainiu village, 102 kilometers away from downtown Hangzhou, East China's Zhejiang province, began e-commerce businesses in 2007. At present, the village has 56 consumer-to-consumer (C2C) online stores, including four large enterprises with annual sales of over 20 million yuan ($3.2 million), accounting for 70 percent of the overall output of the village.
