2. Huayi Brothers
The search for lucrative content has drawn Jack Ma and Pony Ma to the country's entertainment giant Huayi Brother, as Alibaba Venture, Tencent, together with China Ping An, invested altogether 3.6 billion yuan in the company in a private placement in November last year.
The cooperation between Huayi Brothers and the two tech giants is expected focus on movie, TV series and online game adaption, according to the companies.
