Businessmen in Wenzhou of East China's Zhejiang province released fishin to a river on Thursday, the eighth day of the first lunar month. This day marks the first day of business in the lunar new year and businessmen usually set off firecrackers to wish for a prosperous new year. But this year, some businessmen in Wenzhou chose a more environmentally-friendly way to celebrate the day by freeing fish into the river. [Photo/IC] |
