Leaning on women
Shang Shaohua, a member of the National Committee of the CPPCC, suggested the government give subsidies to companies hiring female college students.
"About 90 percent of female college students said they faced sex discrimination during job hunting, in a survey of 2,000 from seven Chinese regions. As they will soon face a range of issues such as marriage, childbirth or breastfeeding, many employers think it's not worth employing female graduates", said Shang.
