Pigs' breakout thwarted at scene spot
It seems that it's not just teachers who want to "go out and see the wide world out there", as the viral resignation letter said, but performing pigs as well. Four pigs made a break for it at a scenic spot in Qingyuan, Guangdong province, in a bid for freedom, cfp.cn reported on Thursday.
The escape took place at the tourist attraction where the pigs are part of the featured attractions. Apparently, one pig rushed out of the pigsty after finishing its routine performance, and then the other three followed its lead.
Unfortunately, the attempted escape was a failure as staff at the scenic spot reacted quickly to round up the "fugitives".
According to the report, although imitation bows and guns were used to frighten the pigs during the roundup, they were not actually fired and the pigs were not hurt in the incident.
