Foreign Minister Wang Yi at the UN

Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi attended the 68th session of the UN General Assembly in New York this past week. Wang arrived in New York from Washington on Saturday and met with UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon on Sunday. It's Wang's first time attending the annual UN event since he assumed the new post in March. During the week, Wang met with his counterparts from nations including Egypt, India, Namibia, South Sudan, South Africa, France and Russia on the sidelines of the General Assembly, where he is set to give a speech at the General Debate on Friday afternoon.
