CHANGSHA - Police in central China's Hunan Province have arrested a man suspected of injuring three nurses with a knife in the latest hospital attack.
Xiao, 29, was arrested in his home in the city of Changsha, capital of Hunan, on Thursday evening, said an official with the city's public security bureau.
Xiao allegedly attacked three nurses, one of whom is pregnant, in the Affiliated Hospital of Hunan Academy of Chinese Medicine on Monday morning following a dispute over cosmetic surgery.
According to the hospital, the man received a beard implant four months ago but was not satisfied with the result and made the attack after a consultation with his doctor on Monday morning.
The injuries, mostly to the nurses' heads and faces, are not life threatening, the hospital said.
