Chefs at Ritz-Carlton, Beijing, have created a variety of mooncakes for the coming Mid-Autumn Festival. They have also prepared a wide selection of innovative delicacies, complete with traditional Chinese kung fu tea. The mooncake packages are the perfect gift for family and friends. Traditional mooncakes
To celebrate the coming Mid-Autumn Festival on Sept 30, Beijing Marriott Hotel City Wall presents a deluxe mooncake package (138 yuan per box) and a luxurious package (188 yuan per box). Cake stuffing includes traditional double egg yolk with white lotus, five nuts and refreshing single egg yolk.

Olympic dinner
As London 2012 Olympic Games approaches, Kempinski Hotel Beijing's Dragon Palace provides the opportunity to take a walk down memory lane and relive the Beijing 2008 Olympics. Executive Sous Chef Frank Zhang has created a nine-course menu, including lobster and premium beef, which he cooked for State leaders during the Beijing Olympics. Italian restaurant reopens
The Daccapo at the Regent Beijing, has reopened at a brand new location, with better ambience. With award-winning chef Mario still holding the kitchen, the restaurant offers a new creative menu, including salad of lobster, fennel and orange jelly. Delicious dim sum
Chynna at Hilton Beijing Wangfujing introduces a delicious selection of specially made dim sums. Up to 30 authentic Cantonese dim sums are available every day for lunch. Choices range from steamed, baked and deep-fried options to healthy congee and Cantonese desserts. The new menu includes popular items like crispy shrimp rice rolls and freshly baked puff pastries filled with BBQ pork.
