Lingshan Mountain, Beijing
Lingshan Mountain is crowned as the highest mountain on the outskirts of Beijing. The top of the mountain is covered with snow all year round. It has the typical landform of a plateau with gentle slopes. As a matter of fact, July and early August are the spring time for Lingshan, when meadows thrive with green grass and languid white sheep wander across the meadow. It is also surprising to see mountain yaks which are known as the "boat of the plateau" there.
