India looking forward to Xi's visit

BEIJING - Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi on Wednesday held telephone talks with his Indian Counterpart Sushma Swaraj on Chinese President Xi Jinping's upcoming visit to India.
The leaders and people of India are looking forward to Xi's state visit to India, Swaraj said.
Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi also attaches great importance to the visit and the Indian side will make adequate preparations for Xi's visit to ensure its success, Swaraj said.
Wang said China is willing to make joint efforts with India to ensure that the visit will score significant achievements so as to elevate China-India strategic partnership to a new level.
