Open Doors report finds increases in international enrollment

US Assistant Secretary of State for Education and Cultural Affairs Evan Ryan (left) talks about the international educational exchange on Monday morning at a meeting in the National Press Club in Washington for the release of the 2014 Open Doors Report on International Education Exchange by the Institute for International Education (IIE). The report shows that the number of international students in US universities and colleges increased 8 percent during the 2013/14 academic year to 883,052, and 274,439, or 31 percent of the total came from China.
