Neighborhood gets its very own model fighter jet and tank
In a patriotic drive to enhance citizens' understanding of national defense, a neighborhood property management department in Weifang, Shandong province installed some impressive scale models of a tank, a fighter jet and missiles.
The tank looks like the old Type 99, which was showcased in the 1999 National Day Parade. The fighter jet, on the other hand, looks as if it's modeled after the Shanyang J-15, better known as the flying shark, which was featured in the V-Day parade in Beijing on Sept 3, shanghaiist.com said.
That's all for today's trending. Do check back tomorrow for more news from around China!
