China, World Bank to cooperate in health care

BEIJING -- Chinese Vice Premier Liu Yandong met with World Bank Managing Director Sri Mulyani Indrawati in Beijing on Monday, pledging to cooperate more in health care.
Liu said he appreciated the World Bank's support and help on China's medical and health care reform and briefed Indrawati on the latest development in this field.
She said the Chinese government is willing to work with World Bank and international community in deepening exchanges and cooperation in medical and health care, share experiences to improve people's health status and contribute to the global health development.
Indrawati praised China's medical reform and promised to work closely with China to achieve more in health.
