Interview with Lars Petersen, general manager of Jebsen Marine
How do you spend your weekends amid your busy schedule?
If I'm not on the road, I like to spend the weekend at home inHong Kongor go hiking and boating. When it is sunny, I like to sit on the roof of my house in Clear Water Bay and read magazines and books.
What are your hobbies?
I like to drive.
What is the book you are reading now?
I'm listening to some audio thriller at the moment.
What is your idea of perfect happiness?
My health and my family. We are happy as a unit. Without that, everything else won't work.
What is your greatest fear?
Snakes.
What are the qualities you most admire in a man?
Honesty, trust, openness.
What are the qualities you most admire in a woman?
The same as in a man.
What do you consider your greatest achievement?
My daughter. And setting up the Porsche business for Jebsen.
What is your most treasured possession?
My family and my car.
What kind of "green" lifestyle do you have?
I start using the air conditioning a bit later and switch off all electronic devices I'm not using.
What's the best way to break the ice with a Chinese businessman you've met for the first time?
Being natural, being myself and being friendly. I use "ni hao" to show I am a guest here.
