BEIJING - The Central Committee of the Communist Party of China (CPC) has decided to remove Wang Lijun from the position of vice-mayor of Chongqing, a senior official with the Organization Department of the CPC Central Committee was quoted Thursday by xinhuanet.com.
He Ting, vice-governor and police chief of Qinghai Province, has been nominated to replace Wang as vice-mayor of Chongqing.
