More than 300 psychological experts and volunteers from commonwealth organizations in Beijing, Shanghai, Taiwan, Hong Kong and other regions of the Chinese mainland gather at the first Forum on Innovation and Development of Psychology Counseling Hotlines across the Mainland, Taiwan and Hong Kong. The forum was also held to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the establishment of the Maple Women Psychology Counseling Hotline. The experts and volunteers discussed psychological problems and shared ideas on helping people suffering from mental health issues. The event was held in Beijing on Nov 30, 2012. The Maple Women Psychology Counseling Hotline, set up by The Maple Women’s Psychological Counseling Center, serves to offer professional level psychology counseling to women and their families. The hotline offers counseling on topics such as marriage problems, sexual issues, child education, work life balance, vocational services, domestic violence, children’s issues and mental health issues such as depression, stress and anxiety.
