Community canteen to serve lunch to seniors

A community in Tanggu in Tianjin's Binhai New Area, has signed a contract with local restaurants to provide a lunch service to senior residents, Binhai Times reported.
The report said that Xiangyang Community in Tanggu signed the contract with Zeshengyuan Restaurant to deliver lunch to seniors living locally. The community office made the most of existing social resources to open a community canteen to serve the 5,333 senior residents over 60-years-old in the community.
Community lunch delivery is one of Binhai New Area's 20 key projects to serve the public. A total of 19 community canteens will be set up in the area to serve the seniors.
