Mainland actress Gao Yuanyuan reunited with Hong Kong director Johnnie To in his latest film, Blind Detective.
The film marks the second time that both have worked together.
Don't Go Breaking My Heart, a city romance that was well received in 2011, was their first joint effort. Blind Detective was screened at the Midnight Projection, an out of competition section of the Cannes Film Festival last week.
It will premiere in China on July 11.
